THANK YOU FOR WORSHIPING WITH US!
THANK YOU FOR WORSHIPING WITH US!
Please take a moment to fill out our online Connection Card if you have not done so already.
If this is your first time at Crossroads, we want you to enjoy worship without any sense of obligation. In lieu of giving an offering, please tap the button to fill out our Guest Connection Card.
When you give, we have the ability to share God's love with communities here and around the world in a greater capacity. We believe the local church is the hope of the world, therefore we support its life-changing efforts with our finances.
Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.
HOLY SPIRIT IS PROMISED TO GUIDE
• GUIDES TO JESUS
John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
John 15:26 When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me.
Jesus is THE Source of truth
• GUIDES TO A FINAL DESTINATION
John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
Ephesians 1:13-14 13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14 who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.
Your future is more important than your past
• GUIDES OUR PATH
John 16:14-15 14 He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15 All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.
Acts 16:6-10 6 Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. 7 When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to. 8 So they passed by Mysia and went down to Troas. 9 During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” 10 After Paul had seen the vision, we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
God’s “no” is as important as God’s “go”
God’s guidance is rarely in straight lines
Rather be on the crooked road to God’s destiny Than the straight road to destruction
A dead end doesn’t mean it’s the end
Jesus clearly stated He did not come to bring religion, rules or rituals, but that we might have life to the full (John 10:10). At Crossroads you can come as you are and that doesn’t just mean what you wear on the outside; it also includes the inside. You can come with your pain, guilt, and past mistakes and find healing, grace, and hope for the future.
